Basically, it is a visual method of sending SOS signals. These pyrotechnics are used in time of distress is mentioned in Annex 4 of COLREGs.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<div class='container-fluid rt-tpg-container' id='rt-tpg-container-75777095'><div class='row
